RICHARD CHUA
Music Director / Operations Manager
Richard has been in the music and sound engineering industry for more than 17 years focusing mainly in the advertising field. He has worked with various agencies including Hakuhodo, Batey Ads, McCann Eriksson, Leo Burnett, Lowe Lintas, Dentsu Young & Rubicam, Euro RSGC and Ogilvy & Mather.
Richard has had vast experience in the composition and production of jingles for a variety of products and services for the likes of Dunhill, Marlboro, BMW, Ponds, L’Oreal, Telekom Malaysia, the Malaysian Ministry Of Transport, BP Petrol, Men’s Biore, Vono, Aeon Jusco, Shell, Astro, Panasonic, Pizza Hut and Milo for television commercials as well as radio jingles. His work has also been used in regional television commercials.
Richard’s talent however is not confined to jingles. He has also composed music for the Kuala Lumpur City Centre light and sound show for the 2003 New Year and Merdeka celebrations. Richard is also passionate about, and enjoys composing various genre of music. He has composed, arranged and produced for Casey and Francesca Peters, and has engineered on albums by Sheila Majid, Zainal Abidin, Anita Sarawak, the late Teresa Teng and Seha, and even featured on Amir Yusuf’s album. He is currently composing songs for Siti Sara, Exists and Zamani to name a few.
JOJO (SOO WEI)
Composer / Sound Engineer
Jojo graduated with Honours in Bachelors of Music in Technology University Putra Malaysia (UPM). She studied orchestrations, art composition, film and multimedia composition and pop composition in UPM.
Jojo was a choir member of the choir of UPM conducted by Dr. Chan Cheong Jan. She also played the trombone for UPM’s orchestra conducted by Professor Zakhid Khaknazarov.
Jojo’s work experience includes the composition of jingles for Malaysia’s Ministry of Transport, Baskin Robins, Honda and Livita to name a few. She has also arranged songs for various Chinese Albums in Malaysia and has composed jingles for various advertising agencies in Incognito Productions.
